If you can't log in to EZ Texting, it means you are using the wrong username and/or password.
If you forgot your username, please click here. You will be instructed to enter the phone number for your account (usually your mobile number) and email, and then click Recover Username. Your username will be sent via text to your mobile number on file.
If you need to reset your password, please use our reset password tool here. Keep in mind you will need the account username and email address to perform a password reset.
To change your EZ Texting password:
- Click My Profile in the left navigation panel. The Change Profile page appears.
- In the Change Password section at the bottom of the page, enter your new password in the New Password field, and again in the Confirm Password field. Passwords must contain between 6-20 characters.
- Click Update Password. Your password has been changed
One of My Contacts Doesn’t Receive My Text Message
At some point your contact may have opted out of receiving messages from the shared short code for your account (like 313131 for 797979). To get them re-subscribed, have them send text your Demo Keyword to your short code. To find out what your Demo Keyword and short code are, login to your account. Don't have a Demo Keyword? Click Add a Demo Keyword on the Keywords page.
To start, log in and navigate to Contacts & Groups option from the left navigation menu. Then select Mass Upload Contacts from at the top of the display table
Step 1: Browse for your contact file or drag your file into the page
To make it easier, we also have a contact list template you can download and a tutorial video you can watch.
Step 2: Map contact data to EZ Texting fields
After you upload your contact list, use the dropdown menus shown above to map the contact information to the appropriate fields within your EZ Texting account. Phone Number is the only required field. First Name, Last Name, Email address, and Notes are the other default options.
If you need additional data fields, you can create up to 5 custom fields. To do that, click the Add New Contact Field button at the bottom right or select Add Contact Field from the dropdown menus at the top of the columns.
When you add a new contact field, you will name the field and define the kind of information it will hold.
After defining the field, click the Create button.
When your fields are mapped and created, click the Continue button at the bottom of the page to move to the next step.
Step 3: Choose a group for your new contacts
You can select an existing group using the dropdown menu or you can create a new group by clicking the Create a new group for these contacts link.
After selecting your group, check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions, and then click the Finish Contact Upload button to begin the upload process.
After you click finish, you’ll receive a confirmation that upload process has begun. The system will suggest some next steps to take during the processing.
When the upload is complete, you'll receive a notification in your Notification bell at the top of the page.
Click See upload Summary to view the details of your upload.
If you have any errors, you can click the Invalid numbers row of the summary to get details on any contacts that failed to load.
You can then view your newly uploaded contacts by clicking the View Uploaded Group button at the bottom of the page.
What is a Keyword?
The process is simple: people can easily opt-in to your group text messaging list by texting your chosen Keyword to a short code number like 313131 (be sure to check in your account for the short code you will use). The person will then receive an automated reply message (which you can easily customize) confirming their subscription to your group messaging list.
For example, if you have the keyword 'Deals', you could create a message that reads "Text 'DEALS' to 313131 to get on our deals mailing list!"
Why Can't I Send a Picture (MMS) Message?
Free & EZ Accounts do not have access to picture message functionality. Upgrade to a paid plan to use this awesome feature.
